Killer smoked salmon chowder

Besides eating smoked salmon by itself, which is hard to beat, try it in a chowder.  The best I’ve ever had is based on the recipe from Gwin’s Lodge in Cooper Landing, Alaska.    We make this often in the winter.  Scroll down to the recipe.  It’s a great place to visit if you’re ever here.
